About AmandaMy story of mastering color, cutting and curly hair
Helping women feel the most confident & beautiful with healthy hair
My Journey in the beauty industry began in the early 2000’s-the same year I started college. From the very beginning, I was driven by a deep curiosity and passion for mastering every aspect of hair.
As someone with thick curly and often unruly hair myself, I intimately understood the challenges many women face. Long before modern tools and techniques made it easier, I quickly became known for my ability to truly understand, transform and effortlessly shape, define and elevate curl.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve cultivated a speciality in precision cutting, customized dimensional color, bright blondes and luxury curl care and smoothing. My approach is intentional and tailored-combining advanced technique with an elevated, detail-oriented experience. Every service is designed to enhance your natural beauty while delivering polished, low maintenance results that seamlessly fit into your lifestyle.
I work with busy, high-achieving women who value looking effortlessly put together without sacrificing time. Whether you’re managing a full schedule, leading in your career, or simply love the feeling of beautiful healthy hair, my goal is to create a look that feels refined as it is wearable.
Where luxury meets ease, and your hair works beautifully for you everyday.
My story
My principlesHealthy hair is beautiful hair, at any length..
I believe, strongly, that beautiful hair starts with healthy hair. At any length and any color. There are many ways your hair becomes unhealthy. Diet, medical issues, stress, just to name a few. I get a lot of clients who want to keep length. Which is lovely. However, showing what your hair actually looks like with a photo, typically scares people when they see what I see. Showing them what really needs to be removed and why, always starts the healthy hair journey.
About meMeet your hair genius!
I grew up in the East Bay in northern CA. A small town at the time where we rode bikes, played in corn fields and felt free to roam. After high school, I moved to Sacramento for college. I got a job in a popular and busy salon as a receptionist. The owner saw something in me and became my mentor. I did an apprenticeship program with her and off I went, absorbing all that I possibly could. I loved it!!! For practice I would work on my fellow nursing classmates. Who doesn’t love practically free hair? Albeit not great free hair but free nonetheless.
